Activistenpartij Candidate for Faculty of Law (PPLE)
Making the university a beacon of hope in the fight against fascism, brb.
Having been an activist since 15 years old in my conservative Romanian hometown, I know a thing or two about challenging and fighting already in place outdated systems. I am a Eastern-European second-year PPLE student who seeks to make university a place where fascist ideas and attitudes are not tolerated. From founding the first feminist club in Iași county (Romania) to debating conservatives in parliamentary meetings, I’ve never been one to sit quietly. I’ve marched for women’s safety, cooked for Ukrainian refugees, and helped lead the MoviesThatMatter x TDP committee as Project Coordinator. You might’ve seen me at pro-Palestinian protests or maybe just being whimsically idealistic, still holding out hope for a kinder, more socialist future.
I’m here to carry the Activist Party’s mission forward and I’m not coming empty-handed. Here are three key plans I’ll push for once elected:
- Exam clashes? Stress less! I’ll propose a policy allowing you to reschedule elective or minor exams so they don’t sabotage your main coursework. Your success shouldn’t hinge on bad scheduling.
- Period talk? Normalize it. I’ll advocate for menstrual leave, because your health, especially when under-researched and underserved, matters. Whether you menstruate or just care about fairness, this is for you.
Feeling unsafe on campus? You deserve better. I’ll work to implement a harassment helpline that doesn’t just listen but acts: offering support, resources, and a clear path to justice.
