Rood is de kleur van ons hart.

My name is Danial Haider, a lover of hanging out with friends, walking through the endless streets of Amsterdam and a real foodie. Besides that, I’m a third-year law student who really enjoys studying at UvA but believes there can and must be change. I wish to be elected to the faculty council to focus on three main topics: accessibility for all students, deprivatize the school cantine and democratize the faculty. A dream I have for the school cantine is to get rid of all meat/chicken/fish based meals and replace it with plant-based options.

Being active within a body that is part of a bigger organization is nothing new for me. In high school I was the chair of the students council (Leerlingenraad) and the Medezeggenschapsraad. Within my city I was an important member of the Youths Council board. This experience has led me to understanding the bureaucracy that is attached to these bodies and knowing how to talk to other organs and make sure our voice is being heard.

Knowing that my intrinsic motivation plays a very big factor in making sure the voices of all students are being heard, I can assure you that I will do what is in your best interest.
