Radical change, not just words.
Hi, I’m Francesco and I’m currently in the CSR as the delegate from Humanities. I’m running again!
This year, I have:
- co-founded De Nieuwe Mensa, providing affordable food at REC;
- abolished mandatory attendance and the BSA in Humanities;
- protected the right to demonstrate in the House Rules;
- pushed to cut ties with institutions complicit in human rights violations.
But there’s still a lot of work to do. Next year, I want to:
- expand De Nieuwe Mensa to other campuses and de-privatize the canteen;
- break all ties with genocide-complicit institutions and let the students be heard;
- push the UvA to invest more in accessible education for students with neurodivergence, physical impairments, and diverse backgrounds.
The university should be an open community of people, not a money-making machine.
